Integrative therapy with Charlotte Roy

Hello

My name is Charlotte Roy and I’m a therapist in private practice in west London and a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I have a Level 4 CPCAB (Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body) Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, and during my training I specialised in both adult open-ended therapy with Headstrong, and children and young people as a volunteer therapist with Hounslow Youth Counselling Services, a charity I was previously a trustee for. I also have experience in crisis therapy through my work with Shout.

As for how I work today in private practice, you can find out more in my ‘about’ page which details the areas I work with in a bit more detail.

There are many different reasons people begin or pick up therapy again, all of them entirely valid. I believe that while we are a product of our past - or life to date - that doesn’t necessarily mean it has to (negatively) influence our present and future. I also believe that therapy can be incredibly helpful and, at times, transformational, when you find the therapist that’s right for you.

You can find a bit more about how we could work together on my ‘about’ page - at the moment I’m offering online-only sessions, delivered via Zoom, Teams or Skype.

Book a 15-minute intro session

It’s so important to look around for the right therapist; studies have shown that the relationship between the therapist and client is the single most important factor in positive therapeutic outcomes, so I always offer a 15-minute ‘chemistry’ session so you can see if you’d like to work with me.
